Bio Notes: James Charles Clark was born in 1902. From September 1922 he studied full-time at the School of Architecture and in June 1925 had completed the post-Diploma course. During his summer holidays he spent time travelling in England and the south of Scotland studying ecclesiastical architecture. He sat the qualifying exam in July 1925 and was admitted ARIBA on 30 November of that year, his proposers being John Wilson Walker, John Alexander Ogg Allan and George Watt.
