Bio Notes: Lewis Solomon was born in 1848 to a Jewish family and was apprentice and later clerk of works in the office of Matthew Digby Wyatt. He commenced practice on his own account in London in 1872. He died in 1928.

The practice was taken over by an as yet unidentified Kaye and became Lewis Solomon, Kaye & Partners.
