Bio Notes: ArtArthur Benjamin Plummer was born on 16 December 1855 in Newcastle upon Tyne and articled to Matthew Thompson there, gaining experience in London before returning to Newcastle to set up business on his own account. He worked mainly on designs for churches and restorations and was Diocesan Surveyor for Lindisfarne from 1892. He was elected FRIBA on 3 June 1889. He was in partnership with John George Burrell from 1891-1900. After 1900 both partners worked alone. He died in 1925.
