Bio Notes: ____ Umpherston and John Kerr were millwrights and ironfounders, of the Douglas Foundry, Dundee. They were active from the 1820s until the foundry failed on 28 April 1843. The Douglas Foundry thereafter resumed production in the ownership of Thomas Brothers.
