Basic Biographical Details Name: | James C Robertson | Designation: | | Born: | | Died: | Late 1940s | Bio Notes: | James C___ Robertson was practising at 219 St Vincent Street, Glasgow in 1908-10, his home address being 6 Broomhill Gardens, Partick. He was an Associate of the RIBA. He left Glasgow and moved to Orkney at some point after this. In about 1937 he was joined by Robert Archibald Hendry with a view to a partnership. It is not clear if the partnership was ever formalised but if so, it must have been very short. Hendry was still officially working as an assistant to Robertson in 1947 at the time of his (Hendry's) election to the RIBA. | Private and Business AddressesThe following private or business addresses are associated with this : | | Address | Type | Date from | Date to | Notes | | 219, St Vincent Street, Glasgow, Scotland | Business | 1908 * | | | | 6, Broomhill Gardens, Partick, Glasgow, Scotland | Private | 1908 * | | | | Willowburn Road, Kirkwall, Orkney, Scotland | Business | c. 1940 | | |
