Bio Notes: Alexander Cameron Todd was born on 23 March 1879 and articled to Steele & Balfour of Glasgow for five years from 1 June 1894, during which period he studied under William James Anderson and Alexander McGibbon at Glasgow School of Art. At the end of his articles he became an assistant first to Stark & Rowntree and then in 1900 to John Archibald Campbell.
