Bio Notes: Robert Snodgrass was an architect and builder practising in Beith, Ayrshire in 1868 and thereafter. His son was also called Robert and worked as aarchitect and builder in Beith. It is unclear whether the father or the son built 10 Dalry Road for himself and a number of other villas speculatively in Dalry Road. They are descended from Robert Snodgrass who was a mason in Beith in the 1820s. Robert Snodgrass Senior died sometime before 12 July 1870 when his will was registered.
