Bio Notes: Henry MacDougall emigrated to Canada from Scotland and went into partnership with fellow Scot Edward Macpherson Skae in 1868 in Toronto. The firm operated for two years, after which Skae returned to his native land. MacDougall remained in Toronto, first practising on his own and then in 1873 forming a partnership with Frank Darling. This lasted for two years, after which MacDougall himself returned to Scotland. On his return to Scotland he lived at Millburn Tower, Corstorphine, Edinburgh. He died on 2 October 1877.
