Bio Notes: James Perry or Perrie senior was born in 1821. He worked as an architect in Buckie in the 1880s. He married Martha Jane Gerry on 29 May 1886 at St Peter's Church in Buckie. The Rev A Gerry officiated. In 1905 they lived at 38 East Church Street, an address which they shared with John Perry, a post office clerk. John Perry's wife gave birth to a daughter that year.

James Perry died on 13 January 1906.
