Bio Notes: Son of Thomas Simpson (born in Scotland but later practising from 16 Ship Street, Brighton), and the younger brother of Sir John William Simpson (b. 1858, practised in London, RIBA President 1919-21); continued his father's practice after the latter's death, retaining his father's appointment as architect and surveyor to the Brighton School Board and becoming architect to Brighton Education Committee. He died in 1954.
