Bio Notes: Robert Clarke Edwards was born in 1844 and was educated partly abroad and then in the office of Habershon & Pite. He worked in partnership with his cousin George Frederick Satchell at 37 Norfolk Street, Strand from 1869. He remained there after Satchell's death in 1897, until 1917 when he moved to Dorset. He died on 18 February 1938, at the age of ninety-three, the oldest member of the RIBA at the time.
