Bio Notes: Robert Goodwin was assistant to Alexander 'Greek' Thomson in 1873. He left later that year and worked from October 1873 until June 1874 with Peddie & Kinnear on the drawings for Auchmore. The following year, 1875, he set up independent practice at 35 Elmbank Street, Glasgow and subscribed to the Thomson Memorial Fund. His practice did not survive the severe recession following the collapse of the Vcity of Glasgow Bank in 1878. No further details of him are yet known.
