Bio Notes: Nothing is yet known of the training of Andrew W Bell, who worked as Burgh Engineer of Dunfermline in the years around 1900. He was presumably the same Andrew W Bell who in 1914 went into partnership with William Thomas Oldrieve and William Paterson, formerly of H M Office of Works, as Oldrieve Bell & Paterson. The style of the practice remained unchanged after Oldrieve's death in 1922. By 1930 or 1931 Bell was a Fellow of the Edinburgh Architectural Association.
