Bio Notes: James McEwan was practising from Hazelwood, Grange, Edinburgh in 1894 and at 36 Dick Place the following year (is this the same as Hazelwood?) but had an office at 15 Hanover Street by 1897. From about 1898 until 1910 he practised from 68 George Street. During this latter period he was in partnership with an unidentified Saintsbury. He is not listed in the British Architectural Library/RIBA 'Directory of British Architects 1834-1914'.
