Bio Notes: Evan Tweedie practised in Annandale as an architect and surveyor. He was manager of the Gretna development 1914-18 and 'Government Land Valuer', perhaps acting for the Inland Revenue under the Finance Act of 1909. He also did much work under the Church of Scotland Property Act. He died on 14 February 1928, leaving moveable estate of £1740 13s 4d. He was survived by his daughter Catherine and his son Alexander who appears to have been living in Liverpool at that time.
