Bio Notes: Francis Usher Holme was born c.1844 and was articled to Brown & Wardrop in Edinburgh in 1862. On completion of his apprenticeship in 1866 he joined the office of Banks & Barry in London as a draughtsman. In 1872 he moved to Liverpool to commence independent practice in partnership with his uncle George Holme. In the mid-1880s F & G Holme were working in collaboration with James A Mercer.

Francis Usher Holme died on 13 June 1913.
