Bio Notes: George Blair Imrie was born in Virginia Water, Surrey in 1885, the eldest son of James Blair Imrie, clerk of works who had been born in Edinburgh, and his wife Alice Stallwood. Imrie appears to have practised in London and formed a partnership with Thomas Gravely Angell.

He married Helen Maud Harrison in Englefield Green, Surrey on 20th August 1910. They subsequently lived in Esher for many years.

Imrie died on 29th December 1952 in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
