Bio Notes: Edgar Philip Loftus Brock was born in 1833, articled to the original E & W G Habershon practice in 1857, and studied at the RA Schools where he won the Silver Medal. He became managing clerk to Habershon & Spalding, and was made partner in 1865. On Edward Habershon's retirement in 1879 Brock became sole partner, and he was belatedly admitted FRIBA on 20 March 1882, his proposers being Edward Habershon, Arthur Cates and Professor T Hayter Lewis.

Brock died in 1895.
