Bio Notes: Percy Burnell Tubbs was born on 29 February 1868 and was articled to a William Patterson, presumably in London, in 1883. He studied in Paris under Ferdinand Lamotte in 1884 but returned to Patterson's office to continue his apprenticeship, transferring to the office of Messrs Ford & Hesketh on Patterson's death in 1886. He later worked as assistant to Franklin & Andrews, quantity surveyors of Ludgate Hill. He commenced independent practice in London in 1889, and worked in partnership with Grahame Burnell Tubbs and Ronald Aver Duncan from 1922. He died in 1933.
