Bio Notes: James Newton Fatkin was born in 1882 and articled to John George Crone of Newcastle upon Tyne from 1895 to 1899, attending Armstrong College. After two years as assistant to Gibson Kyle he commenced independent practice in Newcastle in 1903, and was admitted LRIBA in the mass intake of 20 July 1911. He died in 1940.
