Bio Notes: Andrew Fraser was clerk-of-works on the Poltalloch estate in Argyll from 1854 or 1855. He was presumably appointed on William Burn's recommendation as he had been at Harlaxton for the previous ten years. He designed the Garden House at Poltalloch (1855) and other buildings on the estate in a Burn-derived cottage manner.
