Bio Notes: Few details are yet known of Robert Bell Burnet. He was born in about 1866, the fifth son of James Burnet, architect, who spent much of his working life in Langholm. In 1891 Robert Bell Burnet was working as a joiner in Glasgow. He may later have taken over his father's practice.
