Basic Biographical Details

Name: Robert Paton
Designation:
Born:
Died: 8 April 1877
Bio Notes: Robert Paton practised in Ayrshire. He was perhaps related to James Paton. He is probably the 'land measurer' , born 1838, who lived and died in Kilbrinie intestate on 8 April 1877. On the other hand he may be the Robert Paton who was born in 1822 and who is described as a timber and builder variously in different census records. Two of his sons were also timber merchants.
