Bio Notes:	William Barbour Shaw was born in September 1868 and practised as an engineer. He worked in partnership with Hugh James Morton, and their firm was merged with that of John Taylor Babtie in 1906, the practice title becoming Babtie, Shaw & Morton. The practice was based at 188 West Regent Street, Glasgow, where Babtie had been working in partnership with Carl R Bonn until the latter's death that year.
