Bio Notes: Ralph Henry Morton was born in 1873, the son of South Shields architect Joseph Hall Morton. He was taken into partnership by his father in 1900 as J H Morton & Son, and continued the practice after his father's death in 1923. In 1949 Morton Angus Mackenzie succeeded to the practice.
