From c. 1875 David Clunas was in partnership with Charles R Sey. Their practice appears to have been primarily industrial housings and their main claim to fame is their experiment with mass concrete as a low-cost solution for the Working Mens House Building Association in Dundee.
Charles Sey disappears from directories and census records beofre 1881. He was perhaps implicated in the forgeries for which his partner David Clunas was imprisoned.
