Basic Biographical Details | Name: | Thomas Arthur Darcy Braddell | | Designation: | Architect | | Born: | 1884 | | Died: | 1970 | | Bio Notes: | Thomas Arthur Darcy Braddell born in 1884, the son of Sir Thomas Braddell, Chief Judicial Officer of the Malay States. Educated at St Paul's School, he was articled to Sir Ernest George and attended the AA Schools. He commenced independent practice in London in 1908, and went into partnership with Humphry Deane as Deane & Braddell with whom he had an extensive Arts and Crafts domestic practice. He was admitted ARIBA in 1920 under the war exemption scheme, and afterwards was elected Fellow in 1922.
