Bio Notes: Cornelius Horsburgh Armour was born about 1881 in Leith, the son of John Armour, currier, and his wife Elizabeth. In 1901 his profession is given as 'builder's clerk' so he may have trained as a builder.

He was one of the in-house architects of the Scottish Co-operative Wholesale Society (SCWS). He died 22 Bellahouston Drive, Glasgow on 24 May 1955. He is sometimes referred to as W Cornelius Armour.
